Projects
Working with youth to create meaningful original songs and music videos is what inspired The EYM Project and continues to inspire everything we do. A number of "EYM Projects' are presently in development and slated for release in 2026.
The EYM Project was created by teachers and artists who are passionate about youth and dedicated to bringing hands-on, youth-driven projects into classrooms through original curriculum and projects. Our curriculum portal EYM CreatED is coming soon.

Project and Artist Qualifiers
We typically work on projects that:
* Actively involve youth in the creative process
* Provide mentorship, skill-building, or educational value

* Are ethically produced and responsibly managed

Our selection process
While each project is unique, our general process includes:
1. Idea or Opportunity Identification – Projects may emerge from community needs, artist proposals, partner organizations, or existing relationships.
2. Values & Mission Alignment Review – We assess how the project aligns with EYM’s guiding principles and impact goals.
3. Youth Impact Assessment – We consider how youth will be involved, supported, and meaningfully benefited.
4. Feasibility & Capacity Review – We evaluate timelines, resources, funding, and partnerships.
5. Collaborative Planning – Successful initiatives are shaped collaboratively with artists, youth, and partners.
A living framework
This framework is intentionally flexible. EYM remains open to new ideas, evolving practices, and community-driven initiatives that reflect the changing needs and voices of young people. If you are an artist, educator, or organization interested in collaborating with EYM, we welcome conversations that begin with shared values and a commitment to empowering youth through the arts.
